Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 28, 2026

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension and its companion web application handle, process, and protect your information.

We are dedicated to providing a secure, read-only decision support experience. We do not participate in automated scraping, bidding, or account actions, and we never sell your data to third parties.

1Data We Collect & Why

Personally Identifiable Information

We store your profile email address in secure local storage. This is used solely to identify your subscription tier (Free vs. Premium) and customize your interface preferences.

Authentication Information

We store a temporary, encrypted session token (JWT) locally to authenticate requests with our backend. This keeps you safely logged in without needing to enter credentials repeatedly.

Website Content

To generate analytical scorecards, our extension reads the text content of the active Upwork job description page loaded in your browser. This analysis is processed securely on the fly.

2Data Storage and Security

  • No Tracking: We do not track or record your general web history. Our extension only functions on explicitly matched job details pages.
  • Safe Processing: Read-only page data is processed over secure HTTPS channels directly through our API endpoint.
  • Zero Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or read page contents with any third-party marketers or brokers.

3Your Data Controls & Deletion

You retain absolute control over your local settings. You can instantly clear your authentication token and preferences at any time by logging out of the extension or uninstalling it from your browser.

If you wish to delete your companion web application account and all associated profile records, please contact us at our support portal, and we will fulfill your deletion request within 24 hours.
